Using a Neptune ph probe on a rkl?

Can you do this? They have the same connector type, but I'm not having any luck calibrating it. I get the same # in the 10.01 and 7.01 solution. Is it bad or just not speaking the same language?

I don't know if anyone has tried this but I thought I would ask before I toss it.
FYI, it is a old probe that was new, but looks to have dried out.

All PH Probes are inter changable so I would say you have a bad probe if you do not get it to stabilize at different #'s in the Calibration solution.

I get a response in the solution, but it doesn't change when I go from 7 to 10, So its going in the trash. Who has the best deal on a new one in town?

If you must buy one Local AC is the only one i know who sells them. The Issue with local is that they may be quite old and that effects the quality of the probe. BRS has them pretty cheap as Generic ones that i have used with great success, But the choice is yours.

It's going inside a reactor, and the BRS one will not fit through the bung in the lid.
I would rather give less for it online, but I need it asap. I need to now the ph inside.

Are you using this in a Ca Rx? If so they fit in all the ones I've owned! If not you have the wrong insert in the fitting on the reactor, There are two sizes that they make and they are changable. The one you most likely have is not used much anymore.
