Using TBS rock for cycle

I finally have water in my 190 gallon build, and now it it is time to start cycling.

I have been planning all along to use live rock for the cycle (as I did with my nano). My thinking is that the rock helps start a strong cycle and good bio-load, plus the cycle helps to kill off some of the more problematic hitchhikers.

I wanted to get opinions here before placing my order.
