Using USB Extender over CAT6

Has anyone used this or is it possible to use a USB Extender over a CAT6 cable? So you can use this instead of a 150 foot USB cable since there hard to get and expensive?

You cannot do this.

While the Apex uses the same physical cable as USB, it does not use the same electrical characteristics.

As a result, any active devices designed for USB will not be compatible with Apex.

Only passive cables.

Well, maybe it might work but I highly doubt it. If there is any chance that that device pulls USB power from the USB hub then it would not work and may even damage things.

Very risky to even try.
