Hey guys, just traded to MP40Wes dry sides for these babies:



Do you think it was a good deal? Each has about 20 heads.

Not sure those are actually utter chaos (perhaps just the lighting) but they still look nice.

Yeah I definitely did and still do. The MP40s were from 2013 and if I need any, I will get something new. I didn't want to invest in wet sides and then have the dry sides fail on me.

Perfect then. A chunk of 20 or so utter chaos would cost a petty penny online. Idk what the value is of what you traded but seems like a pretty good deal.

For MP40Wes that old, I would say about $140-$160 for the dry side.

Gobstoppers are pretty common in my neck of the woods, and increasingly hitting 'saturation' levels at reef swaps. They grow ridiculously fast in high nutrient conditions and managed to grow grapefruit sized colonies myself from small frags in about 6 months.
Any of the 'chaos' named zoas are fairly rare though, and a colony that sized and healthy is worth a pretty penny. Good score..in terms of the chaos.

I have to agree with above...those utter chaos look off compared to mine.

Mine have a whole lot more white/cream in the center and orange on the rims.

Centers look blue in your pictures and red for the rim.

Might just be the colors of the picture. It looks very similar to how mine come out in cell phone pictures.

Score if both parties are happy. Not always about receiving the best deal, you unloaded unwanted parts, and received something useful in trade. Now grow them out and trade for something again

Nice, good luck! I got a 4 polyp frag about a month ago and it's 9 polyps already. Very pretty zoa.

Nevermind the crappy pic, iphones suck, here is the chaos frag I picked up for $60. Cant take pics with blues on for the color pop, camera freaks out.
