UV sterilizer

I saw an in-sump version of a UV sterilizer yesterday at my favorite LFS but forgot to grab it on my way out. I'm gonna go by there today and purchase it.
Anyone have any bad experiences from using UV?

As a rule I like UV sterilizers. Cleaner water in visual appearance, less algae growth, and fewer parasite/ bacteria problems. I like them on all tanks. Just remember you have it when dosing certain things, it does have to be shut off. If you dose any type of Calcium you will have to clean that quartz sleeve more often, usually about every 6 months from build up.
