UV Sterilizers

Was thinking about getting one to run once in awhile. any suggestions? heard it makes the water clarity better and can help with water bourn ich.

If you're looking for an ich solution, UV is not the answer. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Read the thread linked above.

It can clear algae from the water if properly sized but is virtually useles for marine ich and other fish disieases whn use in closed recirculating systems like aquariums.
