Hi,
I started a 29 gal BioCube about 6 weeks ago. I added 25 lbs of live rock (Haitian shelf rock) and let the tank cycle for about 3 weeks. I added a chiller to keep the tank around 70 (w/o I couldn't get the temp below 83). I also added a Current Fission protein skimmer. After the third week, I added about 4 types of coral, a clown, a purple pseudochromis, a firefish goby and a blue tang. After about a week, the tang developed ich. I am treating the tank with Ich Attack (100% organic coral safe). I also started feeding the fish Spectrum Thera A to get some extra garlic in their system. However, the tang didn't make it. The other fish seem to be doing fine. All that being said, should I add UV sterlizer to the mix to help with the ich? Any suggestions? If so, what brand, type do you recommend?
