I've decided to put a UV unit on my next tank, which is going to be mainly for SPS's. I was thinking of around 40 watts, for a 160 gal, is this too much or too little. Any other thoughts on UV usage would be appriciated. MGB
40w sounds good. It will definately keep ich and other parasites in check. Also, you won't have to clean your front glass as much and the water will be clearer.
