if you "YAHOO" like so many of us do ,,,they have a real cool little tracker that stays up on your screen , it is a reminder and tracker of alot of diffrent critical functions of your reef tank !!! for instance , dates of water changes , filter changes , lighting , and so on ,,there's like 13 diffrent things you can set ,,,,,,,, it gives you the next date that it needs to be done based on what date you set it up for ,,, 30 day change, 45 day change ,,,,,, whatever you set it for ,,, its a cool little gadget ,,, you can find it at "Yahoo Widgets" its called "V.1.0.1 Aquarium tracking computer widget" , you can get it from "Current USA" lighting manufacturing home page as well..... WWW.CURRENT-USA.COM,, thought i would pass it along , its blue in color and it blends in very nice with my reef wallpaper !!!!!
Pretty neat ............ and useful for busy people who forget their dates and such !!!!! not any of us right ???

I went and looked at it and one of the reviews did not speak highly of it. Said it was very difficult to remove+ its a freshwater scene

its very easy to remove(add or remove programs) in your control panel on Windows based computers,,,, and or shut off ,,and it can used with any tank ,,,salt or not , here are the "timers" you can set

TOP OFF WATER
ADD CALCIUM
ADD SUPPLEMENTS
WATER CHANGE
CLEAN FILTERS
CHANGE FILTER CARTRIDGE
CHANGE PHOSPHATE REMOVER
ADD CHEMICAL MEDIA
CHECK SUPPILES
CHANGE FLUOESCENT BULBS
CHANGE METAL HALIDES

i think everything here would apply to a reef tank ,,,, i dont think i would use it for the sucess of a multi thousand dollar reef tank , i just thought it was a cool little gadget ,,,,to use for a reminder of whats coming up with your tank (fresh or salt), and for busy folks ,,it could be a great reminder for people who are on the move ,,,,,, and might have overlooked one thing or another
