V20 Soft Freeze foods production halted; 1:1000 causes Paralyzed / Blind wrasse

This reminds me of the dog food containing melamine.

It could be that the additive that keeps it soft causes the problem. Since it seems to be affecting only certain families of wrasses it could be a particular sensitivity of them - similar to the sensitivity to Chloroquine Phosphate they share with the Syngnathiformes.

It's filled with Alcohol so it doesn't freeze.

What kind of alcohol? If they are using methanol then the the blindness comes at no surprise.

That I don't know. He did say that it happens more often in fish which will overeat (both my wrasse went nuts for this food, such a shame they freaking loved it)
