Vacation Question with partially built tank

I finally got to the point where I have my tank on the stand. It took a couple of weekends to finish off the plumbing and then I added the RO/DI water this weekend. I've run the circulation pump for several hours at a time without issue. Everything seems to be good - no leaks. I have not added salt and my rock is still in a couple of tubs. I do have a Sicce pump running inside the tank, just to push the water around a bit.

Here's my question - is it OK for me to turn the return/circulation pump off and just leave the Sicce pump running inside the tank? I don't really see the need to run the circulation pump while I'm gone, but maybe I'm missing something.

Mmm...why didn't you add salt water? In anticipation of being gone?

Ro/di should be fine. Just top it off after you get back.

Largely because I was very pessimistic about my plumbing skills. Figured I would just test with fresh water.

Also, everything takes longer than I plan. My goal was to have added the salt and the rock this weekend. It wasn't until Monday night that I was able to get the skimmer in and tested out. I haven't been able to set up the ATO - and I don't want to just before leaving. I figured I would just wait.
