In Memoriam
Hey, I stopped into Vance's in Bucksport today as he was getting a new order in. He had some stuff in that order that is crazy- wanted you guys to know. I tried to describe the best stuff below.
He has a rock of about 9 or more rhododacticis (SP?) mushrooms of a color I have never seen before- a really lovely purple with blue highlights, and a teal middle, white mouth. I threatened to camp out until he gave me one!!!! Absolutely stunning, especially under actinic lights...!!!
He also had several colonies of eagle eye zoanthids, red zoanthids, and a really bright kiwi green colony that were about 6 inches by 6 inches at least, covering the ENTIRE rock.
There were lots of anenomes- green BTAs, rose, sebaes. Also a Christmas ISland wrasse, and striped citron clown gobies, and 3 gold striped adult clowns that showed the yellow really brightly. First time I have ever seen a northern Maine store get stuff that good in for zoanthids. Hope it goes to a SWAM member!! I picked up one of the gold striped clowns, a rhododactis mushroom... and I think I am going back tomorrow!!!
