Vanishing GBTA's trick

So I finally got around to pulling one of my 250 mh's off my main tank and replaced it with a Sol Blue set at 75%. I awoke the next morning to find "bubbletip mountian" completely vacated. All the GBTA's (5-6) apparently didn't like the AI light and disapeared into the rock pile. The ironic thing is the new rose bubbletip I just got stayed put and seemed unaffected by the light change. The mh sat about 6 inchs above the water and the Sol blue now sits about 10 inchs high. I did remove the 1/2 sheet of glass top I had under the mh light.

Any suggestions as to what intensity to start the Sol Blues at? I dropped them down to 50% to see if the gbta's come back out, should I go lower?

Eventually 3 of the GBTA's came out of the rocks but 2 were missing. I semi looked through the rocks but didn't see them, figured they'd come out when they were ready if they didn't die.

Fast forward a few weeks and I was cleaning the tank and happened to look inside the overflow box and behold there was the missing 2.

Half hour of careful thumbnail'in I managed to get them both out and back in the display. I'm kind of surprised they look healthy as there's not very much light at all getting down in the overflow boxes. Oddly as you can see in the photos the one was kind of hiding underneath the turndown on the return pipe, I'm surprised he didn't get siphon'ed into it.

i have aoi sol's also and only have them on at about 60 percent the light spectrum is different with leds compared to mh lights

I'm currently acclimating mine to a sol and have set it at 50% upping it by 5% a week. So far so good both my red and green bubble tips are expanding well and looking very happy indeed.
