Vectra Battery Backup Booster

I just purchased the Vectra L1.

I want to also purchase the VorTech Battery Backup, but when reading on the description, it states that I should also get the ** For best performance when in return pump configuration, a Vectra Battery Backup Booster is required.

Where do I purchase this booster? and how much is it. Any pics?

I called Ecotech on this. It's in the making and they are doing the finalized touches on this product I was told

No link, sorry. Like I stated above, I called Ecotech because it says to use the Vectra on the "battery back" up you will need a booster. I found no such product on Marine Depot, Bulk Reef Supply, or anywhere. That's what the gentleman on the phone told me. He said they are close to it being done.

I wish EcoTech would chime in on this since its advertised to have it but not been available ever.
I have been waiting since September with only the promise it will be out soon.

Does anyone know what that thing actually does for the backup? Does it even out the power or put it into a specific pattern for the pump to use?

Since it's called a battery booster, I would assume that it boosts the power to the battery? Adds power?

I tried running mine with the standard cable and the pump couldn't overcome the head pressure to even pump any water into the tank. I'm assuming it corrects this and like it says "boats" the power to overcome that issue

It's a 12v to 36v DC booster. Doesn't cost much on ebay if you want to build your own backup
