Vectra L1 Power Issue

I sent an email about this on Sunday and haven't received a response, so I figured I would post here also. The power cord for my Vectra pump is very difficult to insert into the transformer and randomly loses power. Obviously, this causes the pump to shut off. The pump is brand new and the power cord issue was noticed when I first tried to connect everything. Any help would be appreciated.
