Veggie clip.

I feed my tank nori (yellow tang ,coral beauty) on average every other day. About a half sheet needs to be replaced then. Generally whenever the amount of nori is gone, just replace it with new.

I feed them every evening when I'l back home from work. About 1 and 1/2 full size sheets for 12 tangs and that is not even enought for them. It keeps them all very healthy and beer belly looking...

just seems like a lot.. my os foxface likes flake food, grazing and even frozen mysis. i got him nori but he seems to prefer grazing off the rock.. but the lfs recommended i should only cut him a square about 1'' by 2''..

i have 3 small tangs and i feed a quarter of a sheet 3x a day, it is normally gone with in 20 minutes of going in

Hmmm I cant get my tang to even eat my nori, all he does is graze the rocks. :/ but usually a small amount of nori goes in every other day for my coral beauty.

Try attaching some to a rock with a rubberband. If successful, move rock near a wall for a few days. If he continues to eat from the rock, put it on a clip near where the rock was. I have done it this way for half a dozen tangs and it worked on all of them.

I do this for my bicolor blenny every 2-3 days. He wouldn't touch nori on a veggie clip. I'm also using the rock+rubberband for my Foxface and Kole Tang currently in QT. Again, they seemed confused by the veggie clip. Once I attached it to a rock, they started grazing on it.

I feed nori an average of 6 out of 7 days a week

What are you folks using for a clip? I'm using the TLF floating clip and it's been working great.

+1 - me too
They do also have one (newer model?) that is a bit thicker magnet that I also have and hate. When I pull the magnet off from the outside the tank to let the inside piece rise to the top of the water (at which time I pet my Naso who is anxiously waiting for his last piece...) the inside piece sticks to the tank. Not with the clip with the magnet that is a bit smaller like the post above.

My yellow tang doesn't like to eat nori very often so what I have been doing lately (is very successful) is I take the nori and put it in a coffee grinder to make a fine flake. I will then mix that with my brine shrimp and the fish will go crazy for that. My clownfish, yellow tang, sand sifting goby, and hawk fish will swarm the food then.
