I have a hang on back filter to use. I also have a jumbo BRS reactor that I'm not using, why not fill it with aragonite sand from the tank and use for a bio filter? Would this work to speed up the cycle?

Sand/rock absorbs medication, so that's a no-go.

Assume that anything from the existing DT is contaminated.

Hi buddy, I think it's already too late to quarantine your fish, it will only add further stress by trying to catch the infected. Don't do any further chemical treatment in your main tank.. I suggested using DR medicated feeding.

This method must be carry out daily routine for 2 week atleast and should be in your feeding program. I have the same issues when I don't quarantine before introducing in main tank... All the best !!
