Velvet?

All my fish are dying. I lost four at one time. Then two more. And my last fish i dying too. I was told I might have velvet. How do I cure this? Copper? Please help...I'm panicking here.

yea thats a shame......i lost every single fish in my tank to velvet also this week i know how you feel

All my fish have died...all within three days. I have a few small corals and a couple of anemones left. Is there anything I should do before restocking it? How long should I wait?

Wait six weeks before adding anything. To avoid this in the future QT all fish.

velvet is quick and lethal.

leave the tank for 8 weeks in the mean time set up a q/t tank and q/t all new fish for at least 3 weeks before introduction to main tank.

you will avoid ich and velvet outbreaks this way.

and can treat the fish in q/t quickly and easily if it is ill.
