Venting a swim bladder...borbonius anthias

Hey guys, I bought a borbonius anthias a couple weeks ago and noticed it wasn't swimming right, but just assumed it was new to the tank and would be okay. It also hides down in the rocks and only comes out to eat. When it comes out to eat I noticed it's swim bladder seems to be inflated and he seems to be swimming with his head does and has Trouble swimming normal. Everything I've read online says that the fish needs to have its swim bladder vented. He does eat fine though and looks healthy otherwise.

Has anyone had this clear up on its own without venting it with a syringe? I'm nervous to vent it because I don't want to lose the fish. Will this clear up on its own or will it eventually kill him?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would monitor for now. They kinda swim like that when they are small. If they get blown away by flow then I would worry. Otherwise, it is their normal behavior. I currently have two and I had them for two year. I had same concern about the little one when I first got them.

Aquageek450, how did your Borb get on? I have one with the same issue perhaps worse. He now tires very easily and floats to the top. I have him in a hospital tank and are treating with Furan-2 in case of infection. I'm considering venting his swim bladder as I he looks like a football.
