It is a stunning fish.

No way to tell really unless you get a smaller specimen and see how they work out. Odds are that after a few weeks the larger would be the male and the smaller would be female. Though, there is no difference to tell visually unless angels are in a bonded pair. Maybe as far as spawning, then you know you have a male and female for sure.
