Venustus Angel

Hello,
My order including a Venustus Angel arrived Tuesday as scheduled. All is well so far. Upon opening the box I was surprised that multiple bags including the bag the angel came in had small holes and were leaking slightly but the angel and the other livestock seem to be OK so far. My main question is what was the Venustus eating at your facility? I would like to try getting him acclimated to frozen mysis, nori, and spectrum pellets. Is there anything else I should be attempting to feed?
Thanks,
Craig Peterson

Thanks for the update. That is great news. The angel was eating live brine and our BZ mix while it was here. It had been here for about three weeks so it was eating really good. Try our food first to get it eating again and then you should have no problem getting onto your frozen food choices. Just make sure to defrost the food well and rinse to avoid phosphate problems. Take care and have a wonderful holiday.

Still no luck getting him to eat. I have tried live brine, BZ mix, mysis, nori, pellets, angel formula, and flakes. He has started picking from the live rock more and is swimming with my other fish so I'm hoping he is getting something to eat.

How many other fish do you have it with? It may take longer to adjust with other fish around. Ideally fish like venustus should be alone at first to get them back eating.

Update: This morning he finally ate! Reef Nutrition Arctipods. So hopefully its a good sign. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
