vermiculated snails and montipora issues

So these pita snails are growing right in my caps and encrusting montis and ****ing all neiboring sps corals off with there webs. Isolated ones i used super glue and bondo but what is the best way to control these pests! they are annoying especially during feeding time. Hello death trap!

+1 had some in a monti and had to do this about 3 times, problem went away

Lots of us have this problem, but there's very little anyone can do about it. At least from what I can tell. Someone on the CMAS forum claimed to have a zebra snail that ate them, but no one else I know of has had luck with snails going after them. Unfortunately super glue may be the best bet.

true but can u superglue under water? also they seem to be everywhere starting small and then getting larger and large. frustrating to glue all over my frags of montis i end up killing the montis while trying to kill the snails u knw? does it iritate them or is color and polyp reduction comon?
