Vertex 100 Skimmer

Ok I just purchased this skimmer today, going to pick it up later, had good recommendations about it, have any of you ever had one of these skimmers? How did you like it?

if your refering to the vertex in 100 there awesome. amazing skimmer just make sure it has the newer gen pump and body style and not the older one.

gtt, yes its the 100 gen 3 just picked it up, getting ready to install, any tips?

I have one on a 65g. Works best in about 8" of water. Super easy to tune, but be patient - take a least a few hours between adjustments. Great skimmer. Good price. Sicce pump is nice and quiet.

This is a great skimmer. I've had 2 of them. It's currently on my 90 gallon with just corals and it's producing a great amount of skimmate.

I'm considering upgrading the pump to the ATB mini Airstar as I've read it makes the skimmer an absolute Monster.

loved mine for the two years I've had it my pump recently went out and I'm replacing with a psk-600 pump

The ATB mini airstar is actually a Sicci pump. ATB just modified the pump. Should be an excellent change, in performance, reliability, and noise reduction.
