Vertex Alpha 200

Hey guys. Question, my tank is 54 x 40 x 22, with a 40 gal sump and 25 gallon refugium. Bioload is medium to heavy, planning for a mixed reef. I currently run carbon and cheato. Skimmer is an Aquamaxx Cones CO3, but came across a Vertex Alpha 200 with red dragon pump who's been hounding me to trade skimmers (+ cash on my end, not much, maybe $200 or so)

I have no issues with my skimmer, but admit curiosity with the deal. Any reviews on Vertex skimmers?

I have the alpha 200 and absolutely love it. Very well made works like a horse.
Its on a 250 gallon system.

How many gallons in your display ? If its under 175, I don't think the 200 would be a good choice. It need lots of docs to keep a steady head and run consistent.
