Vertex Mocean 2000

This thing rotates 360 degrees correct? At some point, if it is mounted to the outer edge of the tank, the outlet nozzle will point directly at the glass it is mounted on. I would think that this would cause major splashing and soak everything towards the back of the tank.

Am I wrong... I certainly hope so. Someone who owns one, please correct me.

I really like the idea of these things in larger tanks.

I see your point... on our tank we have a euro-brace... so the water wont splash out ;)

How is this different from a seaswirl?

I think the mocean has 2 diffrent things from the seaswirl:it can turn up to 360 degrees (you choose the angle you want) and rotation speed is adjustable... but I'm not familiar with the seaswirl...

What do you do for back siphoning? The nozzle appears to be pretty far under water. I am looking for my 250g tank...and that low would probably back drain about 30gals.

Do you have a siphon break somewhere? I don't trust the back flow valves, nor want the extra restriction.....

What check valve r u using? What other flow do you have and what return pump are you using again?
Very nice tank BTW.

One nice thing would be if the outlet was threaded so lock line could be attached
