I currently have a prototype running on my office tank that I got about a week ago. Once Vertex ok's me taking photos and releasing info of this model I'll start to do so. One word to describe the entire package with these.... AMAZING! I can guarantee that that the quality of construction and performance has never been delivered to the industry at this price point before.
Would you say this be too much for an Elos Midi?
I have an Alpha and very pleased with it, on the new setup I would love to have one of these.

I think you would be fine with it. My Omega 150 is going to end up on my 40g cube at home, with about 15g in the sump once I'm all done with testing it at the shop here. The Midi isn't far off from that size.
