Hey guys-
I bought an IN-80 from you guys, received in Christmas eve and have had it running for 3 days in vinegar solution - no problems.
Tonight I installed it in my sump and the pump locked up after about 15 minutes. After I took it out, disassembled and reassembled the pump and put it back in the tank, the pump locked up again after about 30 minutes. Repeated the process, got it running again and re-installed about 20 minutes ago and am waiting to see what happens.
My question is: have you guys had reports of defective Resun pumps that ship with this product?
Is there a quick fix? I really want to avoid the downtime associated with waiting for a replacement if at all possible.
I know it's a cheap skimmer, but I would expect the pump to last a bit longer.
Other than this issue, I actually like the skimmer so far.
