Vertical clearance for cleaning 9010 cup

Can someone tell me what the vertical clearance needed is for the 9010 DOC. I want to get one of these, but I also want to make sure it will fit in my stand and still allow me to clean it.

I think you need 5" above water line for the collection cup, 8.5" to remove the cup (I think that is for in-tank setup, not sure about sump). I don't own one myself but have been researching for a while. I'd like to get verification from someone else though.

For in sump you will need about 21" to remove the collection cup without tilting the skimmer to the side to remove.

Excellent . . . exactly what I needed to know thank you. I've got a little over 24" so I should be all set.
