
I found this in a tidepool in kwazulu natal, south africa. I thought it was a funky zoanthid, but it is rubbery and tough, and not a coral. It grows attached to rocks, doesn't close, and each "polyp" (leaf) is about 1-1.5 cm on diameter. This isn't in my book. The stems all connect to a single stem at the base.
