Very frustrated

Well the U shaped bracket on my 6025 broke in half and the clips are also broke and are made pretty poorly. Today my 6045 stopped working so I cleaned it and no luck since. I cleaned it twice and yet it won't start up. I'm kinda getting frustrated here since I spent a lot on my tank and now I lost both of my powerheads so I have no flow besides my return pump.

I can send another clip, we are redesigning them but it will take some time to get the new molds made. I can take a look at the 6045 and repair/replace whatever is wrong if you send it in.

it amazes me the number of broken clips and what not, I can only see these breaking with people constantly moving the units around and yanking on the power unit it self instead of holding the unit and pulling the magnet off, I have moved my 6045 a couple of times till I found its sweet spot and always held the head itself in place and removed the magnet so as not to brake the clips or the holder, I think most of this breakage is the lack of common sense on the owners part, and I Applaud Tunze for there backing of the product when if handled correctly won't break

I removed my pumps from the glass by taking off the outside magnet first. I think I got my 6045 working but the impeller has to be in a certain spot or it won't run. When I pluge it in sometimes you can fell the motor shaking but no movement of the impeller. I have it on and running now so I'm not too worried about it and just need a new clip for now.

Mine broke, and I was super careful w/them, and Tunze did a free replacement. I actually got 2 super small black wire ties and used them to fix the broken mount until I received the new one. I've had the new mount for about a month now and still haven't replaced it, because the wire zip ties are working so well, and I don't have to worry about it coming lose while I'm gone. I also ran into it not starting up after being unplugged, and just give it a tap and it always starts right back up. I'm not sure why I'm running it though, because I just upgraded my closed loop w/a new hammerhead! BTW, the black zip ties cost about 2cents and I think they hold the 6045 better anyway. Good luck and thanks Tunze!!!

The is a easy fix for the clips, first cut them all off! Then make sure the clips are either flush or recessed (dremel), then 4-6 drops of super glue and no more clip problem! There really is no reason to have it removable anyway, hope this helps.

The clips on both my 6025's have broken off also and one of the powerheads is loud. I've had them about 6 weeks.

Could I get some replacement clips? Thanks.

The U shaped part just broke. I just got another 6045 and it works fine and I hot glued it to the magnet and it holds.
