very small chaetodontoplus personifer

Thanks Ent. Looking forward to see your build thread. Glad you hear the stripe is forming on your personifer. I think you should invest in a internet cam where you can see your tank 24/7 while away from home. :)

I wonder what variable(s) determine how long small personifer get their stripe in our tank system. Is it temp, water para, food or other fishes? Anyone?

I would like to know that as well because it seems like mine took longer than yours and Eddys and we all got them around the same size.

No more money into the Florida tank! :) Everything into NYC now... I can't wait until the day I can fly my Scribbled and Personifer up here!

TLC! You weren't around to provide... :lmao: I'm still waiting for Eddy to post pics on his own personifer info thread.

On a serious note I would really like to hear more thoughts on possible factors that determine when the stripe forms.

What are your thoughts on a resplendent in a 18X18X18 for 1 year? In my mind it seems small however LA says 30 gallons for the flameback..... I haven't found one but if I do I would like to get her.

30 gallons to 1000 gallons think that fish will have some complexes? :sad2:

I acclimated a pair of Indian Flameback Hybrid Angelfish (Centropyge acanthops x C. flavicauda) in a AP24g with about 60lbs of LR back in '09 and thought it was too small. They were about 2" but likes to dot in and out. I would go with a 50 breeder (36x18x18) as a minimum.

30g to 1000g...heaven.

Incredible Luc! I just love the combination of angels in a reef! Your personifers look great. Mine still only shows a very faint line of black in the tail but is otherwise donig great. She is getting the blue mask slowly as well. Im curious to know why it is taking so long for the black to come in... Maybe because there are many other fish in the tank and she isn't the most dominant.

Ryan,it could be,sometimes they are really black here and the other day they are more grey-black.

The septentrionalis angels are dominant here for the moment but i think in time they will become the boss of the tank, they will end up much bigger i gues:)
