VHO lighting a 180 sps tank

I'm upgrading to a 180 and being 6 ft, my 4ft vho's will be too short. I have another 2X48" ballast and encaps I could use and run a total of 4X48". Should I just overlap them in the center or sell both vho ballasts and get another ballast to run a pair of 6fters.

What opinions are out there?

Use the ballast you have and if you need snag another, it will give you more options for control to keep actnic and daylight apart. You can also mix the 4' witha few 6' and increase light output, Im not sure 440w ona 180 would be enough for sps. Im running 4 48" on my 180 and overlap them in the middle and its great for softies but I added 2 150w MH for clams and the such

I'm also running 400w halides too on my 90 that will be going with me and adding another. I already have 2 of the 2X48" vho ballasts so that option costs me nothing at all.
