I spent most of the day rewiring my new tank. The MH's are working fine, I can't get the VHO's working. Somebody please help!! :)

Sometimes the bulb just needs a bit of a twist. With some ballasts, if one bulb is not fully connected then no bulb will fire.

if you open the end cap up all the way you should be able to line up the slots for the bulb to slide in before you tighten the end with the rubbber boot.....slide in the bulb and then tighten the end with the boot.....turn the bulb until you here a few clicks and hopefully it should fire

if that made any sense?

Tip from a friend o' mine: Use a multimeter to test everything, every connection along the way as you wire them up. That way when a problem occurs, you can fix it immediately.

Nah. You don't test the power of the VHO powered up. You unplug it all and do a conductivity test of the wiring you just finished.
