I mounted the t5 against the back of the canopy.Because of the single reflector, I can still aim the light into the tank.

At the moment I am using the RO 20k's

Jasson, how is the t5 blue plus look with the vho and the RO ? can you see any blue plus ??

Yeah, you can tell but it's not a huge difference. I'm mainly using the t5 for dawn/dusk. It's really cool because of the angle it actually has a horizon type effect.

Thats what I was thinking about doing to my tank too, use the t5 only for dawn to dusk, overlap it with the VHO 1/2 hours latter before kicking in my halides and then doing the oposite at dusk, this way my VHO can run 1 hour less each day.
