Hey guys i'm headed to Virginia beach in about a week and read up that they have a small shark population mostly sands and a few moka's
has anyone here ever gone scuba diving there? if so how is the water qulity and if i find a shark egg can i bring it back? or a small shark sand just born size range 5''-9'' can i bring it back? to put in my shark tank? or is that unethical and a wild shark to much? opposing to one that was hatched in a tank and raised?

Chances of seeing a shark in VB are slim to none. If you do, leave it there. Visibility is ok. If you want a good freshwater experience go to Lake Rawlings quarry. Huge bass and great visibility. Or get on a boat and head towards North Carolina and dive some WW2 ship wrecks. Good stuff. Have fun.

we were planning on diving in the ocean not freshwater diving they say they have some recks out there too

The typical shark species you would likely encounter along the shore in that area all get from 4 to 8 feet on the average. Sand Bar Sharks, Sand Tiger's, Brown Sharks, Smooth and Spiny Dogfish are the common inshore shark species in the region.
