Visiting San Diego -- Question

I will be visiting San Diego from Wed to Sun this week.

Wondering what THE place is to visit. I prefer hobbyist-run shops to large gallery type overpriced places. I doubt I'll be buying but will have some time to kill.

I'll be staying at the Town and Country (no idea where it is) and have no transport other then my legs, cabs and whatever public transport is around.

Any help would be much appreciated, and reciprocated to any who may visit Chicago in the near future. (On that note, IMAC is offering a 2 for 1 on registrations... www.theimac.org).

check out sdreefs.com we have a local store section with address and hours. i like aquatic warehouse because its very big compared to the others. there is aldo octopuss garden and brilliant reef. these are all within 5 minutes of each other in kerny mesa

Yeah, what he said. /|\ You can read what we all think about the different shops as well as ask questions. Might as well post a few wanted things too, who knows. You might end up going home with a few frags. I know I'll be doing some pruning.
