Hi I've been fighting with slitly high nitrates around 30 to 40 PPM. So I did some research and came across carbon dosing with vodka. Has any one ever tried it and what are the pro's and cons. Thanks
I have been using the vodka method for 2 years and i have not seen any negative effects. i use it in my 300 gallon sps reef and it keep my water parameters inline. follow the dosing methods you see online and you should be good.
