Vodka dosing

I have been looking into dosing vodka, and my one question is if I am already running the recommended amount of carbon through a media reactor can I still dose Vodka. As far as I have understood in researching, the vodka acts as a carbon media in a sense. Wont dosing and running carbon be a stress on my tank. Isn't running too much carbon a negative thing.

are you talking about activated carbon? if so it's 2 different things you can run activated carbon and dose vodka at the same time.

I can see your confusion between carbon dosing and using activated carbon on your tank. There is a big difference, and the links in the above post are a great start for research.
