Vodka - How Much, When and Where

How much vodka do you dose and when? I started in January and am up to 10 ml per day, 7 in the morning and 3 in the evening. I have about 110 gallons of water in the system. I know it depends on the amount of nutrients you have and requires a strong skimmer, but I was curious as to whether others are dosing much more or less. I was at 6 ml per day and then upped my lights from PC to ATI T5s and had to increase the amount of vodka dosed to the current 10 ml.

Also, I dose in my dt. Is that pretty much the norm or is there an advantage to getting the vodka in the sump with the skimmer?

im currently dosing 3.5 in a 90g tank. although i underestimated my water volume just to be safe. theres probably about 80g but i caculated for 75. i stared back in june when i had to replace the tank due to seams peeling away. i dont have a sump so it goes right into the tank and i split it in half, morning and night. my bio load is fairly small. my phosphate started at .12 and has fallen to .03-.06 (probably due to overfeeding once in awhile) nitrates hover around 0-5ppm. im not really worried about getting down to zero levels, although it would be nice to get the phosphate down to .01ppm. my skimmer really pulls out alot of dark skimmate. i may increase to 4ml/day but i worried that my snails will starve if there is nothing in there for them. it has greatly helped the algae on the glass. i reallly only have to clean the front 1 or 2 times a week and i leave the rest for the cuc. ive never really had any problem with algae on my rock, but i have noticed my sand bed has cleared up real nice. looks real clean exept for some diatom in one corner where i suspect there isnt enough flow to get it up into the water. how are your levels and do you use any other type of phos. control. gfo or media?

4ml wed morning and 4ml sat night. Right into my aquaripure. big bio load, and no measurable nitrate. I'm feeding mostly frozen about 3 or 4 times a day. I'd get flamed probly if I listed the fish/tank size.
