I am about to start a new tank and I am wondering if people see the same positive color response from vinegar (vs vodka).
On my last tank, I went with vodka dosing (after reading SunnyX's thread). I got amazing results with my colors --especially pinks/reds becoming much brighter over about 1 month. After starting and stopping vodka 3-4x, I confirmed it was the vodka causing the massive color-up of my corals. I even dropped the vodka to 1ml and still had the same positive color response (though stopping vodka made them go brown again).
Then came the Cyano.
On the new tank I am considering going with vinegar to avoid cyano. Thoughts?
