Vortec and Acrylic Whos doing it?

Hey i was wondering if anyone uses vortec in their big acrylic tanks. I have a 300 acrylic and would love to put vortecs in them. My tank has a little bow like usual acrylic and was wondering if i could still use them? Any opinion would be nice.

I have a 325 acrylic pentagon and use 2 x MP40 Vortecs. No problems at all.

MP40's in my 220 have always worked great

It would depend on how thick the acrylic is on your tank as the vortechs go to a max of 3/4"

i have two mp40w on my 225 has 1/2 walls. works great.

Negative!! My tank is 1" thick and works with no problem with the Mp40.
