VorTec D-40 with Battery back up users

I am considering purchasing a vortec d-40 with battery back up. Can I please get some feedback from people who have them?

I don't have the backup, but they are a fantastic product, I'd not hesitate to buy more.

Allhobbs: check the ICECAP subforum too. There are lots of discussions related to the pump.

I own 3 on my 90g, and while the pumps are unlike anything you've seen or experienced, there are some product design flaws. Luckily, I have never experienced better customer service than what Icecap/Ecotech has provided.
