Is the Vortech Battery Backup that is currently available for the MP40W compatible with the MP20 that is coming out soon? Thank you for the information.

VERY good question. That answer might be on Reefcast episode 28. Mark and Evan interview Ecotech, and I think they talk about the new pump. I haven't listened to it yet, it's on my to do list.

Fuppets, I actually listend to that episode and I don't recall hearing anything concerning the compatibility to existing products but I could be wrong. I'm just waiting for the official response from EcoTech Marine so there is no confusion.

Yes it is absolutely 100% compatible with the MP20. What's even better is that we've seen in testing the MP20 last as long as 120 hours, that's five days!!!

Tim, I just drooled on my keyboard at work. You guys have to release this little beauty because I my wife is getting annoyed at the notches I'm making on the calendar counting the days to release.
