Vortech battery backup with tunze

If you buy the tunze connector is thee a way to use the vortech battery backup?

I know one person who tried and I am not sure if they were successful. I don't really see a point to this, the Vortech battery back up contains a similar battery to what you could buy at any Batteries Plus or comparable store and have the advantage of being able to swap it as needed if the power was out longer than the battery lasted, you can even use lantern batteries for a couple hours of run time in a pinch (Hardware store or gas station is open but batteries are dead and no power for charger is available)
