Vortech bearing.

I remember reading that there is a bearing that will wear out and need to be replaced. Can I just buy a bearing and do this myself or do I need to send in the wet side? I think that at least one of my wet sides is ready for a bearing. The prop seems to wobble a bit while spinning and the whols wet side slowly spins.

FYI, i have the same exact problem. My Vortech was making a loud rattling sound so i took everything apart and cleaned it. Put it back together again (with the new magnet kit) and the driveshaft and the bearing appeared to be spinning on different axes. Tried running the thing for a few seconds anyways and the entire wet side assy. was spinning and rattling like mad. I sent you an email on this. Hope to get it resolved ASAP.

FYI, here is a picture of the driveshaft. You can see in the inside corner radius are what look like concentric rings (like when aging a tree) and you can see where the shoulder appears to be worn down a tad. This shoulder is what sits flush with the ceramic bearing. Because the shoulder doesn't sit squarely with the bearing, i believe this is why i'm getting the vibration. Can someone confirm this is my problem?
