Vortech flow pattern

What is the flow pattern of the mp40 and mp60 in length and width? I've never seen anyone mention any statistical data, everyone always just says "wide flow". Thanks.

Wow. Good question. I'd like to know about the MP10ES. I remember seeing a video on Youtube of a green dye being injected into the flow to show the current. I think it was the Vortech pumps or perhaps another company. I can't remember.

Yeah that was the Tunze video, "flow vs turbulence".

I actually sent Ecotech an email yesterday with the same question and they said they didn't know because it changes with flow rate. Not sure why they couldn't have just told me what it is at 100%.

If your referring to GPH rate I believe the Vortech's state xxxGPH to xxxxGPH.
Flow patterns would be interesting to see. My MP10 ES is mounted on the left side of my Fusion 40, 8 inches from the top, dead center, and at full throttle it creates a minature tornado of sand in an area where I have no clue how it's possible to create...... LOL. So much so that the sand is actually sucked into the rear sump if left on more than 3 minutes. There are powerfull that's for sure.

I'm referring to the pattern, not output. Apparently they've never measured it.
