Vortech mp40 keeps falling off glass

Hi guys,

Just got a vortech mp40 and the wetside keeps falling off. Everything seems lined up and ive adjusted the pin spacer but the wetside just falls off after a few seconds. Im asuming i remove the frame cover from the wet side

help please

Try and re/read the instruction. Why are you removing anything from the wet side.

Nothing should be removed from the wet side. What thickness is the glass?

Thanks guys. I just figured that cover was just for tansport. All working great now. Thanks for your help. The instructions say it will quieten down over night. I really hope so. I have it reef crest motor is really noisy

What cover do you mean? There are no parts used just for transport that I am aware of. The dry side has an adjustable pin spacer that you set for your glass thickness. The wet side has that piece that covers the magnet that is also supposed to stay on.

Try moving the wet part to get optimum alignment with the dry side. When you get the right alignment, the wet side vibrations will subside and the pump will quiet down.
