Vortech placement

I am playing around with a few mp40w's in my 210 and have a bit of a snag. since my tank is in wall its very close to one wall and the outside portion of the pump wont fit between the tank and the wall. Right now I have one on the opposite end and one on the back wall what does everyone thing is the best layout this way or both of them on the back. Also what mode is everyone running I like the reef crest mode but it really slows down to almost nothing sometimes

how much more foom do you need? if you took a trim board off would that help,or is that out of the question? i have mine on the ends of the tank in random reefcrest mode.both are set independently(no slave) so sometimes they run together and sometimes against oneanother. the motors seem to stay a lot cooler in this mode as the pumps are always slowing down. hopefully they will last longer this way, will see

IMO optimal placement for two MP40's on a 72" long 200 gallon aquarium would be at both ends (short panes) opposite one another.
Run them both in anti-synch and long pulse mode (at least two minutes on/off.) Set them both for maximum to minimum output.

Cut hole in drywall if it doesn't ruin your home living area.

Jeff- from what I seem to remember the front of your aquarium is fairly flush with the wall(?)

Here is what I did for my in wall.
