Vortech Power Supply problem

I just got a new (used) vortech to replace the one I cooked, and the power supply is wonky. When plugged into the outlet but not into the driver, the power light comes on. When I plug it into the driver, the light goes out and pump no worky.

I'm guessing it needs to be replaced, but would could be causing this? Just not enough power to move the pump??

Yea I was just gonna call their customer support because they have been great in my experience, but they are closed for the night.

I should note, my other power supply works with the new vortech so at least all the expensive parts are good
