I picked up a vortech yesterday and it works so good in my 120!!!!
I placed it in the top middle of the back and it blows straight forward against the front glass. i have it set to about 1/4 power on "lagoon" mode
you just set the pumps speed dial to the max output you want and it randomizes the flow slowly to create a low energy lagoon like enviroment.
I love this pump, it is so great!
